EA UPDATE 3
On Wednesday 27 March over 70 union members came together from all over Crown to develop our claim for world class pay and conditions.
We spent time planning our strategy for the coming negotiations with Crown and discussing what we need to do to win a fair deal at the bargaining table.
We also took nominations for the bargaining team. Over the coming week members will get the chance to vote on who they want to represent them in our negotiations with Crown management.
Sue Szalay, a union delegate in Table Games, said the meetings were “really constructive.”
“It was a good opportunity to see where we all stand. We also got some clarity on what the collective will endorse,” she said.
Anthony Denehey, a union delegate at Crown Metropol, said it was “good to see the different departments supporting each other.”
“It’s nice to know that in Hotels we have the support of Table Games in our fight for job security.”
“Every meeting we are getting stronger and more united.”
Vote Now For Your Bargaining Team Reps
Voting has now opened on who will represent union members in negotiations with Crown management on our new EA.
The vote will be conducted online.
Each department has representation on the bargaining team. The number of representatives is determined by the size of the department.
A vote is being held only for departments where there are more nominees than there are positions available on the team.
These departments include Table Games, Security and Services (Laundry, Valet, Stores & Call Centres).
Please note this vote is for union members only.
Non-members trying to vote will be excluded from the ballot. If you are a non-member and you want to vote, you will need to join your union first.
