Meeting #6: Casino commits to wage offer

"We work hard and sacrifice precious time from our families to make Crown what it is. Their success is because of us and we expect a wage offer reflecting that." — Matt Poynter, table games

ALL STAFF MEETING TO DISCUSS WAGE OFFER

In our latest meeting, casino management made a commitment to provide a wage offer by no later than the 30th of June. All staff mass meetings will be held to discuss the proposal.

Last year, the casino made record profits. That was due to your hard work and time sacrificed from family and friends on Friday and Saturday nights. Casino Union members expect a wage offer that recognises our sacrifice and rewards our work.

The all staff meeting will be your chance to decide on the future of your pay at Crown.

CROWN RESPONDS TO CASINO UNION PROPOSAL FOR FAIR CAREER PATHS

Casino management provided an initial response to the proposal for improving career progression at Crown.

While improvements were made for employees at lower classification levels, management have failed to break down the main roadblocks for fair progression in many departments. A further workshop will be held next week to continue discussions.
